Our story
My name is Christina Dunford, I am a designer and the founder of Kristina Flower Shop. I feel to be a true florist, one needs to carry a sense of creation and transfer talent into passionate work. I prepare designs from within my heart that are naturally creative.
My first professional experience as a florist was when I prepared wedding flowers. At this important time, I envisioned many ideas that helped me realize composing bouquets is a real art. That’s why I love to compose flowers! Being a florist is a craft, art, vocation, career and a wonderful way of life. Floristic art allows me to create beauty and harmony within myself and bring art to the world around me.
Flowers are always a welcomed gift and a true sign of personal love and affection. It is always a nice feeling to receive flowers, but for me it also a very satisfying way to bring joy and happiness to my friends, family, and customers. Being a florist is my passion and personality and I will always enjoy making bouquets for my customers.

How do I place an order?

We accept all major credit cards. We offer curbside pick up and prompt shipping within 50 mile range from the store location.

Returns & Refunds
Returns can only be accepted upon delivery. After delivery is made, we do not accept returns and cannot process a refund. See our guarantee section for more info.

Our Guarantee
Every order is important because we know how important it is to you. Hence, we endeavor to please every customer with beautiful flowers and extra ordinary service. Knowing that flowers are perishable and that floral arrangements are custom made, we make every effort to fortify our floral products and ensure the quality, accuracy, and beauty. Many variables determine whether a flower will last as long as anticipated or whether a designer has created something which you will enjoy. Because we constantly seek ways to bring these variables under our control for improved floral performance, we welcome your comments and inquiries. Also, if you are not completely satisfied with the quality of one of our products, then please contact us immediately and we will promptly take action.

Delivery Policy
Our store and delivery hours vary for major holidays. To help ensure on-time delivery during the busy holiday season, place your order at least one day prior to the following holidays: Valentine's Day, Religious Holidays, International Woman’s Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day.
If No One is Home: Depending on the delivery location, if the recipient is not available at the time of delivery, the delivery person may leave the gift in a safe place for the recipient to retrieve when they return, such as with a roommate, neighbor, or we may leave a message for the recipient to call to arrange delivery. We will contact the purchaser under these circumstances.

Incorrect Addresses: If the recipient's address is incorrect and delivery was attempted to the address, there is a $20 address correction fee. Kristina Flower Shop is not responsible for deliveries made to incorrect addresses submitted to us by the customer. If such a delivery is made, the customer assumes responsibility for the entire purchase.

Canceling an Order: Same-day orders are processed immediately, and usually cannot be changed. Due to the urgent nature of floral products, we are unable to cancel or change orders already in process. To cancel or change an order that has not been processed, please call us to discuss the options available.

Recipient May be Contacted: In some cases, the florist may contact the recipient to ensure she or he will be home to accept the delivery.

Request to Leave Item at Door: The customer assumes all liability for requests to leave arrangements. We highly discourage special instructions requesting delivery to a doorstep, porch, or any location where the recipient cannot accept the arrangement themselves. Kristina Flower Shop cannot be held responsible for missing or faulty product due to this special request.

Recipient Refusal of Delivery: If the recipient refuses to accept a delivery, you may be held fully liable for the cost of the gift.
​
Card Messages: The message that you write in the Card Message field is the message that is sent with the gift. We do not include any billing information with your order.

Substitution Policy
Fresh Flowers: At Kristina Flower Shop we are committed to delivering orders on time and as fresh and beautiful as possible. Because of the nature, seasonality, and regional availability of flowers it is sometimes necessary to make substitutions of equal or greater value. We will make every effort to maintain the "look and feel" of the arrangement by considering the overall shape, size, style, and color combinations. In single-variety arrangements, variety will take precedence over color. For instance, if an order is for yellow daisies, we will substitute another color of daisies, not another yellow flower. White roses and cream roses may be substituted for each other as well as peach roses and pink roses.

Gift Baskets: Substitutions within a basket may be made with items of greater or equal value to guarantee freshness and timely delivery.

Substitutions for Special Occasions: Due to the importance of delivering orders for special occasions, such as funerals, birthdays, anniversaries, or on specific days, we may make a substitution of equal or greater value to ensure timely delivery. This policy applies, if the flowers ordered are not available and we are unable to contact you via the phone number(s) or email address provided on the order form.

Flower Box Care
Flowers in a box - an elite floristic novelty. This design is becoming more popular, because it looks uniquely original. The flowers retain their perfect appearance for longer, do not need a vase, or complicated care. Flowers in a box can be intended for both women and men, depending on the color scheme and decor used by florists.

The stems of the flowers are in a floral sponge soaked in water. They absorb exactly as much moisture as necessary for life, harmful microorganisms do not multiply in the sponge, so the buds retain freshness longer than in an ordinary bouquet. Water from a floristic sponge does not moisten boxing and materials are used to contain the water.
​
If one properly cares for the flowers, they will delight the recipient for approximately 7-10 days, sometimes longer depending on the flowers used and environmental conditions at that time.

A flower box arrangement is the most elegant version of a fashionable look. Everyone knows how difficult it is to surprise the special person of the occasion. Having chosen such a present as flowers in a box, you are guaranteed to present an extraordinary gift for the most experienced person.

How to water flowers in a box with a sponge? Make sure that the sponge is always slightly moist. Watering the flowers is required daily or every other day with a small amount of water using a small watering can or medical syringe.
